Question about Toyota Camry
Will not shift out of park
Check the IGN1, 2, and EFI fuses. One of those powers the brake light circuit, and if that circuit is dead, it locks the shifter.

do you normalie have to have your foot on the break to get it out of park? if so the problem is properly in the stop light switch (located at the back of the break pedle)

Car must be on and brake pedal depressed to shift. If you have no brake lights then the car doesn't know the pedal is depressed and will not shift out of park. This car has an interlock overide on the shifter console, push it and it will come out of Park. You will need a brake light switch tho.

Sounds like you have an issue with your ignition switch. If nothing is working with the engine running, and key on, then all of those accessories are not getting power. I would start there. Good luck
