Please refer to either YouTube. But please make sure you have ramps and not a jack...there are far too many stories of people getting crushed because of using car jacks.

Can i change this pump by dropping the pan and doing it myself

Just friendly chit chat. Those numbers sound good to me. Idle sounds really good. Highway maybe 10 lbs low but not horrible. 13 year old truck? I'd be happy with those numbers. You can switch to a heavier weight oil and increase those numbers but lubrication efficiency can suffer. Lighter oils flow better but can show lower PSI. Now about your question: If you can remove oil pan you should be able to change oil pump. As long as no suspension is in your way. I would get a repair manual from parts store. I'm more familiar with Porsche, Jaguar, Alpha Romeo and Toyota. Wish you the best.

Light comes on at start up and shuts off when

If you don't change your oil often the oil pump screen gets covered with gunk and will cause your low oil pressure light to come on, and I suggest you drop your oil pan and check because your oil pump can be damaged. Go to any auto zone and they will print out step by step instructions for you .

On the GM car the engine will have to be removed to change your oil pump, however it is easiest to pull engine and transmission as an assembly. My question is why do you think you have a failed oil pump??? If oil pump fails it usually screws up engine too....

1999 cross country v70 awd crankshaft seal replacement

Your info is confusing. The rear cam seal is not inside the timing belt cover, and the crank seal is at the bottom of the engine, while the cam seal is at the top.

Is there oil at the top, around the cam seal? Or just at the bottom? It's common for the oil pump seal to leak. If you get the oil pump reseal kit, it contains the oil pump seal and gasket, as well as the crankshaft seal. Make sure you seal the oil pump bolts, Volvo has special copper washers for this purpose.

Just try to locate the oil leak before replacing any more parts. Sometimes it can be something simple like the oil cap seal or the oil trap housing.
