I have ask over and over about my problem with my 96 Ford Windstar and no answer back. Whats up with this?

The compressor is the same but it may have a different pulley and the plug may be indexed on the wrong side. If you have a set of snap ring pliers you can put your coil and pulley on that compressor or it may already be the same ones just make sure you put the plug where it is on your original compressor.

The hose may have separated inside; most are at least two layers plus fabric for strength and old hoses will fail internally and if the layers have come apart, the single layers can't resist collapsing when the water pump is turning at higher speed. You might check also to see if your coolant is uncontaminated since oil seeping into the cooling system past a failed headgasket can cause the hoses to deteriorate more rapidly.
