The fsm covers that code and what to do..
P1 is factory code.
Gasoline engine, or Diesel.? if you dont know, that, then dont guess.
get it fixed.
knocks itself out of gear, what does that mean?

no mater, get it fixed, take it to any good ASE shop and ask them
to DIAGNOSE IT.
but first check all fuse. in both fuse boxes.
Use a meter to do that, as ones that look good , can be bad.

Can a bad knock sensor cause a tranny to go stay in 2nd gear(limp mode)on a 2008 dodge ram 3.7 liter.Got 2 codes a #2 knock sensor and tcm power low voltage

The transmission is in limp-in mode because of the second DTC - TCM (transmission control module) low voltage. The knock sensor code has nothing to do with that. You need to have the TCM and transmission checked out.

both those codes are for your transmission governor pressure sensor .and your pressure sensor .to fit them drop the pan in your gearbox .remove your filter chance to change that will it is off. now you can see both your parts.pull off the plug from your governor pressure sensor and replace.now pull off the pressure sensor and replace it.i do not know your level of skill to understand this.you may need a garage to do this.

I've got a 2000 Dodge 2500 with the 5.9 cummins and its got a code of p1763. At 1st it would start cold and run perfect, but once it warmed up it wouldn't start, now that the weather is warming up it won't...

P1693 is the code meaning that there is the same code in the PCM and the ECM ( engine control module) and (Power Train control module).
P1763 is Governor pressure sensor voltage to high. The governor is in the injector pump I believe. More than likely the sensor is bad.

there is no way to tell weather it is a big job from a code, there are tests that need to be ran to determine what the problem is.sounds like it may possibly be an electrical issue with either the shift lever itself or the valve body on the transmission

What do these codes mean? P1763 and P1762

Those codes indicate an issue with the Governor pressure sensor and the transducer which you'll have to replace. To replace them you'll have to drop the transmission pan to see them. Remove the bolts and disconnect the wiring clips to remove them.

I have a ODB II code reader giving p1763, p1762, p0303

Your right about the two codes. It's really a transmission part.
As soon as you open up the transmission pan, it right there.
f0d99d5.jpg But, I would leave this up to a transmission place. It may need a special type of calibration tool for the new sensor.

As for PO303, that is a missfire in cylinder #3

I hope I answered your question.

Grand Cherokee laredo P1763 and P1762

It's a transmission related problem, that you should have looked at a.s.a.p. to avoid costly transmission repairs down the road. Have it scanned at a reputable transmission repair place, dealer, or mechanic you trust. The drain pan will have to come off to perform repair, so have a transmission service (filter & fluid) done while your at it, unless it was done recently.
