Question about 2006 Chevrolet Silverado
You vehicale has what they call afterblow the blower will come on for a few minutes after the truck has been shut off and will run to dry the evaporator case out so you dont get a musty oder. ( normal concern)

Check under the right side of the dash for possible melted connector to blower motor resistor. There is a service connector available for this if it is the problem.

Standard problem with GM, Blower Resistor needs to be cleaned or replaced. This unit is usually on the blower housing
