2001 Chevy blazer came out one day and it was dinging as if my key was in it got it to start with a jump shut it off took battery out and charged it put it back in when I turn the key I get NOTHING!

Check power an grounds for ignition switch , voltage drop test the starter circuit . Go to youtube an check out videos on basic electrical trouble shooting , voltage drop testing ,how to read a wiring diagram .Then go here free wiring diagram ! Look at power distribution under electrical distribution . Check main fuse's Maxi fuse's that power the ignition switch ,IGN.C fuse 20amp in underhood fuse box ,then check crank fuse 10amp in same fuse box .Check the starter relay in the under hood fuse box . Check the circuit form ignition switch to the starter relay , pull the relay out an look on the bottom you should see 4 set's of numbers 30 - 87 - 85 - 86 . Pin 30 or 87 should have battery voltage ,one or the other ,not both . if you jump those two at the base (where it plugs in ) not the relay pins . It should crank the engine ( if starter is good an there are no opens in the circuit ) Pin's 85 an 86 are the control side of the relay ! I have 2006 dodge charger Rt. I brought new battery an starter an have alternator rebuilt an my car still wont crank

There should be power o the small terminal of the stater anytime the key is in the crank position. I would start with checking that. If there is no power you will need to trace that circuit back.

That wire gets power from the starter relay and the relay gets power from fuse 20 in the TIPM (underhood fuse box). The starter relay control side starts at the ignition switch. The pink with dark green wire should have power with the key in the crank position. That power goes to fuse #10 in the TIPM. it then goes to the starter relay. the starter relay is grounded by the PCM.

Give that a whirl.

Car won't start, battery is good. Could it be the computer or the ignition?

It could be the stater has gone out. If you try to crank it and here a click sound from under the hood that is one indication of a bad starter. Try locating the starter, usually under the hood bolted onto the transmission, it is round with a couple of wires going to it. Try to tap on it with a rubber hammer.This usually frees up the stater and allows it to crank. It is a short term fix though.

My 1997 dodge caravan won't start. has no power to starter wire or to engine. battery ok stater ok switch ok fuses and relays ok

there is an interrupt switch, called neutral safety switch. When it fails or goes out of adjustment, no start, and essentially no protest or indication. Try foot on brake, shift to neutral, turn key to start and slowly move shifter out of nuetral in each direction. If starter actuates, look into switch adjustment.

1995 Geo Tracker will not start after a long drive ...

no its was no the the starter,
the stater does not kill lights.
the dash light being out is the KEY clue to this.

i have full schematics on this care and if you give email they are yours.

the battery , feeds the huge fuse on the right fender well on top.
these mains feed the fuse panel in the cab, above left knee.
so , using a voltmeter check the power at both panels when it fails (HL on will help make it fail)

bad battery cables , corroded battery terms.
corrosion under fender fuse box
last is corrosion on cab fuse panel.

a voltmeter must find 12.5vd at the battery.
and at the fuse panels.
if not , bad connections or a bad battery.
some battery drop to 10v , all by selves.
and is a bad battery.
