Question about 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
None of the windows roll up or down, only one of the door locks work with the switch. My passenger side mirror will adjust but not the driver's side. Checked fuses and it doesn't seem to be the problem.
This could be the wiring harness that goes from the cab to the door. You are going to need a meter or test light to check the wires for voltages. You are also going to need to take the interior panel off the inside of that door. Let me know if you want more info.

Look in the Engine bay fuse box at Fuse #12 this should be for the power windows. If this checks out OK, it could be a fault with a bad ground wire in driver's side door harness. You should be able to pry the runbber boot from the drivers door, and check the larger Black wire that goes through it. These have been known to break after a few years use. If it is the cable, cut neatly, strip the ends anu use a crimp splice. Hope this is a quick and easy fix for you. If it helps you solve the problem, Please take a moment to rate as Fixya! Thanks.

I had the same problem with now power to windows, mirrors and seat. The common soulution is the orange and or black wire in the boot have broken between the door and post.

Sounds familiar - I pulled the rubber boot back and found the black wire was broken. I stripped the wires and put on a couple bullet connectors (terminators) and all is good. Just wish I would have seen this post before I took the door panel off... Oh well...

THIS REALLY WORKS****** Saved atleast $600 easy
Ok so when you open your driver door there is a black boot that goes from the body of Jeep to the door (inside the Jam when you open door-its visable) Take this loose...inside there is a wire bundle...there was a black and orange wire in there that were both broken....All we did was strip these and reconnect them w/ connector....Voila..windows all roll up and down..interior lights come on and the locks work and the power mirrors....I AM SO HAPPY THAT THIS WORKED SAVED ME SO MUCH $$$$
