Oil filler cap

My oil filler cap has some kind of hinge on one of the corners held in with roll pin it will turn about 90 degrees but can't get it to open

I dont think it turns if has a hinge , it will probably lift up from opposite side to the hinge

before you try to start her again in hot weather, open your fuel filler cap, listen for any pressure release, close the cap, and try to start, if this works,then its just heat expansion in the fuel tank, replace the filler cap if this is the case
