ok so you will need to drop the fuel tank then unscrew the pump/sender unit locating ring after carefully removing hoses, once you have sender unit out try moving the float mechanism up and down and watch fuel gauge for movement if no movement check for power to connecter which i would expect it to have as is incorperated with the pump ,if gauge still nit moving get a new sender unit ,i'll look for a diagram for you ,cheers

SOURCE: gas gage on full always

The most likely cause is a malfunctioning fuel level sending unit inside the fuel tank. It requires replacement of the entire fuel pump module assembly if this is the case.

Fuel gage stuck on full

Either there is a short in the fuel sender wiring or the sender in the tank is bad.The actual gauge is rarely bad.Good luck.

Else
The float affixed to your fuel pump in your gas tank is stuck.

It tells the dash you ALWAYS have a full tank.
You have to drop the tank, PB Blast/WD40 the float, get it to drop down.
Finally
Your unit in the tank is bad. Pull it out and move it up and down while someone looks at the gauge. If doesn't work, buy a new one. They are not that expensive.

Gas gage stopped regestering below 1/2 full

mcdevito75 here, Hello john, the sending unit in the gas tank could be faulty of stuck, try leaning against one of the back fenders to move the body of the car from side to side to try to free up the sending unit. You may have to live with it unless yoyur local shop changes the sending unit in the gas tank.

2 Problems.Turn signal arm will not reset.Fuel gage is always on

there is a clicker thing that cuts the switch off when you turn the wheel it must be broken. Fuel gauge is controlled by the sending unit in the gas tank. thats a pain to replace, not to mention having to breathe gas fumes the whole time you do it. some cars you have to pull the tank and others you just have to take out the back seat and pull off a panel.
