Replace the stock hose with an aluminum pipe and use silicone couplers with T-bolt clamps. Add a catch can between the PVC valve and intake and that should solve most of the oil present on the boost side.

Remove metal jubilee clips, remove pipe tubing and clean with brake cleaner, replace the clips and refit, it will be fine as long as there is no holes or cracks in the pipe. No u don't have to clean out the intercooler it will sort it self out when you boost the vehicle ie pedal to metal!
The oil residue is just showing you have an air leak in the pipe, you may of experienced a slight lack of power going up hills or motorway driving too

Black smoke and intercooler hose swelling when reved up

black smoke is not enough air for the mixture
the intercooler hose swelling up when the turbo cuts in indicates a blockage in the intercooler or air inlet into the manifold
with a blockage ou will get black smoke so check the intercooler cores for blockages

Check the seals on the intercooler, for oil to get in the pipes means that the seals are damaged and its loosing compression

I have isuzu bighorn '92 model automatic, there is a leaking oil under the intercooler turbo...is this normal?thanks.

Leaking of any fluid is not normal. The only time any fluid should expel from the car is if you have overfilled something. Your turbo could need replacing, you could have a hole in the intercooler. Have you noticed any lack of performance or extra smoke...

Nissan d40 manual stx deisel runs fine revs right out but lacks power it used to have under load

Unlikely as the check will only point to an actuator sensor problem. Check the intercooler hoses are tight and check the intercooler for holes/cracks where there may be a loss of boost. Check that the turbine vanes are free to move by pulling on the actuator rod . If it doesn't move then the vanes facing the turbine are stuck and the variable effect is not working. Most small turbos have vanes that direct low speed exhaust onto the turbine wheel earlier to give boost at low rpm and the vane angle alters as the exhaust speed increases to give more torque to the turbine blades. This action is controlled by an actuator located in between the shells of the turbo and the actuator is controlled by vacuum hose connected to a electronic module operated by a sensor.. Check the hose as they become brittle from the heat and crack off.

My 96 tt 993 is accumulating oil in the intercooler and then spiling down to the left side onto the engine, is there an easy fix to this problem?

If oil is accumulting inside the inetercooler, it means that the turbo-shaft seal is leaking causing oil to by pass in to the intake system, then through to your intercooler. A quick check to see if this is a fault, remove the hose/piping from the turbo the intercooler and place a piece of white paper over the hole at the turbo where the air is dispelled. Run the engine for a few minutes and if you notice any oil occuring/building up on the white papaer, then it is the turbo seal. This method is used on everything from jetskis to dump trucks. If no oil is present then the oil leak will be coming from somewhere else on the engine, and being sucked in through to the top of the intercooler. May have to remove it to see where any other leaks are coming from.

Sounds like you need an O2 sensor. You need to have it scanned, places like AutoZone will do this free of charge.
