Question about 1996 Chevrolet Blazer
Possible malfunctioning remote control or receiver. Try removing the battery from your remote (keep it handy) or take the #2 remote instead to see if the problem persists. Right now, it could be in either one of two places. Another thought; if you have never replaced the battery in your keychain remote, it may be overdue; 13 years is even way past the 'shelf-life' of these.
