Question about Cars & Trucks
Hi I have Alfa romeo 146 1.6 1997 I am trying to change the thermostat I have it out on the bench but can't open the housing does anyone know how or is it meant to be an all-in-one thermostat & thermostat housing
Normally the thermostat is separate to the housing and it may be just stuck in the housing . There is a recess in the housing and it may have been fitted with an adhesive sealant to stop it leaking. You should have the body of the unit facing you so use a small amount of force and it should break free.
