Where is the 1999 Saturn SL2 slave cylinder located?

on a manual transmission the Clutch Slave Cylinder is located on the drivers side front of the transmission. You can locate it by first finding the clutch master cylinder on the drivers side of the firewall. Then fallow the plastic line to the front of the transmission.

To remove the slave you will first twist it then pull it out of the transmission.

The clutch slave and mater cylinder are replaced as an assembly.

Where is the clutch auto adjustment located at on a 98 manual Volkswagen jetta?

you most likely have a hydraulic clutch, which the clutch master cylinder is located on the firewall on the driverside close to your drivers side windsheild.it takes brake fluid to fill dot brake fluid will fill it properly. however if your slave cylinder on the transmission is leaking, this will require a replacement of the clutch slave cylinder. look for leakage under passenger side,,just under or below passenger side seat onto ground. recommend if you replace the clutch slave cylinder, you also replace clutch master cylinder located on the drivers side firewall at wind sheild.look under the car while someone pumps the clutch in and out,if you see brake fluid leaking under car onto ground or inside onto carpet at brake pedal, you have a bad clutch master cylinder. recommend you replace both slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder. this will save you lots of time and headaches. thank you for choosing fixya.com

New caliber brakes wont bleed pedal to floor

bleed them in this order, back passenger side, , drivers back side, front passenger side,, drivers side front, make sure that the master cylinder never runs out of fluid, if this method doesn't work, ( it should) Lots of parts stores have for lending a brake bleeding kit,, which will force the fluid from the wheel end of the line, back up to the master cylinder, forcing out all the air in the lines ,,, lemme see if I can locate the video that shows one,,, http://www.youtube.com/user/scottykilmer#p/search/0/L0oUejw5Edc thats it,, use that and your problems are over Good Luck

Need firing order for 89 olds cutlass supreme 3.1

To be 100% sure it is 1-2-3-4-5-6. Your number one Cylinder is located on the backside of the engine (closest to the windshield) on the Passenger (aka right) side of the engine. Number two is located on the front of the enging (closest to the bumper)farthest right (passenger side). So the cylinder numbers on the back of the engine are 1-3-5 and the cylinders on the front of the vehicle are 2-4-6.
