Check for balance pipe between tanks that allows the equalising of air pressure between tanks as the fuel will not flow from tank if there is no air release. check for correct cap on second tank

How to tune up 96 chevy corsica


You will need a 3/8" drive ratchet with a 5/8" spark plug socket. There is no distributor on these engines so you won't require a dist. cap. You will want to change spark plugs, ignition wires, air filter, fuel filter and pcv valve. There are no other adjustments.

Hear water sounds in dashboard, but no water comes out


If you cannot detect any water coming out under the dash, or trickling down the floorboard under the carpet, then it is most likely you have an air bubble in your heater core.

This by itself isn't harmful, and if you can stand it, drive around with the heater full on to see if this will get rid of the air.

If it won't, then try this strange sounding trick. Park the car on the very steepest grade you can find, nose up. This will put the radiator cap higher than your in-dash heater core. Then remove the radiator cap, turn the heater or climate control to full heat, and run the motor until it reaches operating temperature. Hopefully you will see a big burp of air emerge!

If you haven't already done so, replace the distributor cap and rotor. There is most likely corrosion inside the cap that is causing a crossfire condition.

This is a common problem on that engine.

Don't know why being hot would aggravate it, but start with the cap.

NEED TO FIND THE A/C LOW PRESSURE SIDE FOR A 2002 CHEVY S10 2.2L ENGINE


Find the air compressor located on the engine and follow the two metal tubes coming out of it. One tube is the high side and the other is the low side. Keep following them until you find a tee with a plastic cap. The red cap is the high side, the blue cap is the low side. If you're trying to re-charge the AC then the recharge fitting will only go on the low side, it won't fit the high side on purpose.

AC compressor works but cool air does not come out.


it sounds like you are low on freon. to check this you will need to follow the ac lines until you find one with a cap on it you will need to take off the cap and attach a gage that will tell you if your freon is low you can usually get a gage when you get the freon. make sure you don't over fill the system if you so the compressor still won't work and you could wreck something in the system.

Truck wont crank. we have put new distributor cap, rotor button, coil pack, plugs, wires, and fuel pump. we also checked our firing order.


you said you repl dist cap that means you don't have a crank sensor you have electronic ing module. remove your elec ing module have it tested most auto parts stores could test your module, or check your coil at the neg terminal. should have power. if not you lost your primary volt from your batt.your secondary power is coming from your electronic ing module from the module to the pos terminal on the coil, when the eng cranks,from the coil to the dist cap , from the dist cap center to the rotor then out to the plugs,this all happen pervided the timing belt or timing chain is ok. the cumbustion chainber needs 3 things , thats fuel, air, and spark.
