Service engine light Not on but No2 is to high for emmisions

do you mean the o2 sensor is reading high ? change the sensor , the CEL does'nt always light up , especially on the OBD1 system, if you wanted to try a fuel addative first get one that covers the catalytic convertor as well as the valves ,cylinders etc , might just be a build up of carbon deposits etc ,follow the makers instructions and take for a longish drive of 50-100 miles, if able , at a highish speed so that the engine gets to a good operating temperature, up to you which way you go but i am a firm believer in the use of fuel addatives on a regular basis especially if the vehicle does a lot of short stop start journeys , keep me posted if you wish

What does po440 on a 2003 saturn vue mean with a service engine soon light on

That is a problem in the evaporative emission control system.
Could be anything causing it
Clogged filter in the charcoal canister
A leak in one of the vacuum lines
The purge valve not working,,,etc.
The best thing is to take it and have it checked out, they might have to do a smoke test to find the problem.
All they do is inject smoke into the system, if there is a leak the smoke will come out of it. All it takes is a pin hole in these emission systems to screw it all up.

My 1994 nissan altima nox high speed emission (25mph) is to high.Standard is 910, mine is 1044. needs to be lowered.

O2 sensors, EGR or catalytic converter(s) may be malfunctioning.
If you've ever had a blown head gasket the coolant coming through could have clogged the O2 sensor and the cat.
EGR system could be out, do you hear any exhaust coming from the EGR pipe or EGR? also try and push in the EGR diaphragm, being careful not to damage the rubber
Also there are a few products you can buy at auto parts stores that claim to fix high nox, but I have not had success with these myself.

1994 VOLVO 850 green triangle

that indicator is for the lambda sensor, that reverse check mark thing is the greek letter lambda. lambda sensor is another name for the oxygen sensor. it is part of how the engine computer manages emissions and it also contributes to fuel economy. if it becomes defective and is not replaced the system may eventually foul your catalytic converter. hope that helps
