Check your manual to see where the fuses are and wich fuses to check. If they all went out at once, you probably just have some blown fuses. Easy and cheap to fix. Just buy the correct new ones and plug them in.

Windshield wipers do not work

You can look under the hood in the big black box at the fuses and relays.I didn't find any link between the door lock, the wipers and the fuel gauge except the body computer. They have rebuilt ones and they have to program it to your car

2009 GMC Envoy - power door locks, power windows, fuel gauge not working, dome light isn't working

Do you know anything about automotive electronic's ? computer controlled systems ? There is electronic control modules in side the doors of your vehicle that control the operation of the windows an lock's , plus the instrument cluster is a module too . Your vehicle has about 10 different control modules and thet are all hooked on a serial data communication network ,to share info. The fuel tank sending unit in the gas tank is wired to the PCM - engine computer , The PCM sends fuel level info to the gauge in the instrument cluster on this serial data network . Your best bet ,take an have the vehicle checked out by a qualified repair shop .
The power door lock system consists of the following components:
• Driver Door Module (DDM)
• Passenger Door Module (PDM)
• Liftgate Module (LGM)
• Door lock relay
• Door unlock relay
• Body Control Module (BCM)
• Reversible door lock actuators in each of the doors
• LR/RR LOCKS 10A fuse (relay supply voltage)
• Door lock switches in driver and passenger doors (switches are integral components to the DDM and PDM)

Power Door Lock Operation
The power door lock switches are integral components of the DDM and PDM. The switches are two position normally open rocker switches. When placed in either the lock or unlock positions, the switches provide a direct input to the DDM or PDM. The DDM or PDM monitors these inputs and sends a Class 2 message indicating a change in the switch's respective position. Modules which activate the power door lock motors receive the Class 2 message and activate the motor in the appropriate direction to lock or unlock the vehicle's doors and liftgate. The modules which activate the power lock motors are:
• DDM (driver door lock actuator).
• PDM (passenger front door lock actuator).
• BCM (both rear door lock actuators).
• LGM (liftgate door lock actuator).
The DDM, PDM and LGM are directly connected to the respective door lock actuator through the door lock motor lock and unlock circuits. Once a door lock or unlock request has been received, the module will supply battery voltage to one side of the actuator and ground the other causing the doors to lock or unlock.

The modules probably have DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored , these would point a auto tech in a positive diagnostic direction .

I have a 2001 Toyota Celica.the problem is the door lock and fuel gauge shows empty n warning lights always on even when its full.i have checked all the fuse and even replace the relay still it didnt fix...

For the Fuel Gauge problem: try knocking on your fuel tank a few times. Give it a few good bangs, sometimes this loosens the fuel pump lever that can sometimes get stuck. This is very common with older model vehicles. To tackle the door lock you will need to get behind the door panel. its not difficult; just take your time.

Rear door stays locked when all other doors opened with fob and only way can access is to crawl in and open manually. Plus rear wiper won't come on. When driving you can hear the rear door lock switching...

It is not a short - you have a bad connection causing intermittent operation of the wiper and lock. Suspect that both devices are on same electrical circuit..

Get the facts straight and open up the indoor panel and start checking for voltage when button is pressed. Might need a schematic to further trace the wiring and source of 12 volts..

My 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 has an intermittent gearshift indicator light on or black problem. We have checked and cleaned the ground points. Also, the gas gauge is inconsistent...even when the tanked is...

It would be nice to get a little more detail on the intermittent light - you say "intermittent gearshift indicator light on or black problem" - Would it be ok if you elaborate a little more? Thanks.

As for your fuel gauge - you will be needing a new sender unit. Someone liked to keep the tank full all the time, so the wiper that moves across carbon strips wore them out just on that part. Thats why when your fuel quantity goes down, the wiper moves down to a good part of the sender board.

Ford is real proud of that sender unit - $140.

You can buy one on eBay for about $80 shipped to your door --

Changing the fuel filter

Solve The body control module on this vehicle controls the gauges, radio, door locks, windows and wipers.... (More) The body control module on this vehicle controls the gauges, radio, door locks, windows and wipers. When this module goes out all sorts of crazy things happen to the car. The module is located inside the car behind the fuse panel. I have had this module go out on three caravans and it is very expensive to replace. Chrysler is aware of this problem. A mechanic told me that they were going to issue a recall but it did not impose a serious enough safety threat. _SetupBidi('source'); The fuel filter is on top of the fuel tank is visible and brings with her 3 hose couplings
