Yes it does. Even if you disconnect it it has to be reprogrammed. The security light will be on solid.

Ford ranger transmission wont shift on its own and overdrive light is flashing

The OD light is flashing to indicate a fault is set in the Transmission control module. Have the system scanned to see what that code is. Based on my experience with this model the transmission will need to be rebuilt ior replaced with a factory rebuilt unit.

PO 700 code i dont know what needs to be fix

Please read the explanation below. This is a transmission issue.

P0700 HONDA Description The Transmission Control Module (TCM) monitors the malfunction of sensors and actuators relating to transmission control. When the TCM detects a malfunction with the control, a signal is send to the Engine Control Module (ECM) to trigger the Engine Light or Service Engine Soon light. The ECM stores the P0700 code and it means the TCM detected a malfunction with the transmission controls.

I have a 2003 Ford Explorer XLT V6 and the transmission is a 5R55W. About 3 years ago I was in an accident and had the engine replaced and the tranny rebuilt due to the accident. However, ever since the...

745 is a pressure control solenoid, curcuit a malfunction. Some solenoids have 2 wireA,B, some have three or more. Yours has more. When you had the transmission rebuilt, did they put in a new solenoid package? they should have, depending on how much you spent. The mechanic should have diagnosed the problem first, this would include checking the transmission control module, wiring and the pressure control module and solenoid. At the time of the accident the curcuit that is in fault could have been severed or smashed into another wire grounding it out. This wire comes from the control module to the transmission. Also the control module itself could have been damaged. Shops have the equipment to read these modules (or should have). they will tell the whole story. I could fix your problem and I don't know anything about transmissions, You have an electrical problem and I do know about that. To many people out there that don't do proper diagnostics, Point and replace, doesn't really fix the problem. I know alot of mechanics engine and transmission, That can rebuild them with thier eyes closed. But when it comes to the eletronics on the car they are clueless. This is what leads to improper diagnoses.

Drive light d4 indicador flashe while driving

You'll need a new or rebuilt transmission control module. If you're handy, you can replace the bad capacitor in it yourself. Do not buy a used one, they are all bad. Rebuilts are available on ebay fairly cheaply. Google "accord tcm" for more info.

Po700 code check engine light is on and i had a rebuilt trans in december

P0700 meands that the TCM (transmission control module) has sensed an electronic fault in the transmission controls and has commaned the Powertrain control module to turn the check engine light on to alert you of the problem, u must now have the TCM tested for the specific code that triggered the check engine light.
Bottom line if u have a warranty on the transmission take it back.

Engine light and Sport light flashing

You have a bad transmission control module (TCM). It is under the passenger side front floor mat. You can get rebuilt units off Ebay, whatever you do, don't get a used one! They are all bad.
