Radio was saying "code". I pressed 123456 and it went from "code" to now saying "off"

There should have been a card that came with your car, either in the glove box or in the manual, with the radio reset code for your car. Drive around for about an hour or so and then try and turn your radio on again. It should say code again . Enter the code off the card. If you can not locate this code, remove your radio and take down the model and serial number. Call up Volvo, they should be able to give you the unlock code. If you do not know how to do this, Volvo can do it for you but they are more than likely going to charge you an hours labor to do it (around here, that's $95.00)

Problems with radio code

Your radio is now in "off" mode. To get it back to "code" mode you need to have power to the radio for 2 hours. This can be accomplished by either driving the car for 2 hours, or putting the key into position 1 on the ignition, but make sure to turn off the fan as it will drain the battery in 2 hours. Once you have "code" back you can enter the 4 digit radio code. Caution, many of these radios have been replaced so the code that the dealer gives you may be wrong. If entered and it comes back "EEEEEE" that means it is the wrong code. The radio must be pulled and get the factory serial number from the top of the unit.

Hope this helps!
