Question about Pontiac Aztek
We have a 2004 Pontiac Aztek, whenever we're at a stop and have to accelerate the engine will rev but will not go. This was before and after we had the transmission rebuilt. The service light is always on since before it started with this issue.
Make sure that the shifter is actually moving the linkage. Could have come loose..

I have the same car and if the gas cap is loos for any reason the service engine light will come on so check that. If it is it will turn off in a few days after you tighten it.

take the negitive battery cable off for about five minutes or so and plug it back in and that should fix ur problem

The high beam light flashing means you have a high beam burnt out. It flashes when you put it in gear because your high beams actually double as your daytime running lights, only on a lower power.
