Look for a round fitting sticking out, right about where the end of the hose should reach.

I need to figure out the coolant flow direction on a 2001 lincoln continental.

What part of the cooling system is important to know about? The coolant is generally pulled from the bottom of the radiator, into the water pump, forced into the engine passages,up thru the thermostat,if hot enough, and back thru the big hose to the TOP of the radiator to drop as it cools again.
Meantime, even if the thermostat hasn't opened yet, the warm coolant is forced out the smaller heater hose near te thermostat, thru the heater core and is pulled back into the water pump thru the return heater hose. Did this help? don-ohio (:^)

Subaru legacy wagon wiper fluid hose disconnected

Look up at your hood... there will be one hose running to the left side of the windshield, and one running to the right side. The right (Driver's) side goes down to a "T" connector, which is right near your master brake cylinder, but up on the hood itself... it connects back there. I couldn't figure it out either... luckily I have 2 Outbacks... a 1998 and a 2001... both connect the same way.

Got 2000 chevy s-10 2.2 electric air pump one hose goes to engine check valve the other big not sure where it goes can anyone help ?

Hello,

The other hose leading up from the secondary air pump is the snorkel. Its just a vacuum line that sucks air into your exhaust system to lower emissions.

What heater core hose goes in what hook up

Should not make any difference as long as the hoses are the same inside diameter. one hose is input and the other is output. Should not make any difference which way the water flows thru the heater core.

My 1997 Chevy Lumina will not turn on. I thought it was the starter since it started having difficulties turning on. The security light on the dash is permanently on. So i replaced the starter and tested...

REPLACE BATTERY CABLES THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE COULD BE SHORTING TO GROUND.REPLACE STARTER SOLENOID IF NOT BEEN REPLACED.BESURE TO PLACE BACK FLEXIBLE CONDUIT THAT GOES AROUND POSITIVE BATTERY KEEP FROM SHORTING TO GROUND. LAST TIME I SEEN BATTERY CABLES OVER HEAT WAS EITHER STARTER AND SOLENOID SHORTING OUT OR VERY LOOSE BATTERY CABLES CONNECTIONS. REPLACE BATTERY CABLES IF THEY ARE MELTED HAVE STARTER CHECKED OUT YOU COULD HAVE FAULTY STARTER STILL.

How do I replace freon into 2000 Plymouth voyager I have a can and the hose I.don't know where to connect I have mo owners manual

it is usually on the wider low pressure line or the bottle near where the line goes into the firewall.

Sometimes it is in fenderwell due to lack of space to package it.

The red lead wire on the back of the alternator has pulled away from somewhere and I need to know where it attaches to. This is on a 1997 Chevy Cavalier 2.4 engine. When I took the bolt off of the red lead...

That heavy gauge red wire (called a B+ wire) runs from the positive side of the battery directly to the back of the alternator. On yours, if it goes to the starter, the starter main battery terminal would essentially do the same thing. (both connections are always hot and always come directly from the battery). If you meant that it became disconnected when you said "pulled away", you need to find the wire it disconnected from and re-connect it. If it just came out of a loop that was securing it, you don't necessarily need to find the loop but can secure it with a tie wrap, making sure it stays away from the manifold.
You could actually make a new wire and connect it between the battery (+) terminal and the alternator, using the same gauge wire, but I'd be concerned that the loose end coming from the starter could possibly touch something and cause a direct short. At the least, you should find the loose end and cap it off. The battery cannot charge with the wire disconnected.
Anything I've just written that you don't understand, just ask and I'll clarify it for you.

When car starts it runs great after the night however it wont start, when i try there is a clicking noise in the dash board

Take to an auto parts store, like Auto Zone. Ask them to test the battery.. Usually a free service.

Possible a loose connection on battery but most likely a weak battery..

BATTERY DRAINING

That wire is the charge wire, what size is it? If it's a #8 loop it goes on the positive side of the starter the other end connects to the alternator output. If the starter has three wires one is BATT large one is Ignition or ING. Which is start solenoid.
