Question about 2001 Opel Corsa 1.0
Sometime when I try to start my Corsa Lite it sounds like a tractor and it takes a while before she runs smooth enough to drive, while this is happening I have no power, she is also very heavy on fuel, 9 km / L. I have been told it may be the coil but I really do not want to go on maybe's. Can you please help
Now! no doubt you fuel up at Tesco's, whether your car is petrol or diesel your injectors will be clogging, get some injector cleaner, put that in your tank run your car for a good few miles, I mean a lot, I had same problem in my Jaguar just recently, a couple of bottles of jet cleaner in with fuel when I went to fuel up, 1 week later smooth as a baby's.
I hope this solves your problem, it the cheapest way to start diagnosing.

No idea offhand to be honest i would need my head under the bonnet to know what wrong .could be anything from the gauze filter in the fuel tank on the bottom of the fuel pump becoming chocked up and leaving the car allows it to drop away to a faulty pump overheating or the contacts ,maybe even a ignition module overheating ,Best advice is ask a local mechanic to have a look for you as normally these early opel corsas with the 4 cylinder engine are bullet proof they are even valve free if the timing belt snaps .

Sounds like you not getting enough fuel. Try replacing you fuel filter which sits under neath the rear near the tank. Just follow the line from the tank and you'll see it or it can be a faulty fuel pump You should get 3 bars pressure from it.
