Hi, having read you problem, it could be several thing wrong, but hears goes- possible high tension circuit breakdown, fit new spark plugs and ignition leads. The other cause could be a small air leak between the inlet manifold and the block, have a listen with a rubber pipe when engine is running, might need a new gasket on the inlet manifold. has I am a English mechanic I am not conversant with your model of car, bearing in mind all internal combustion engines work very similar . have you tied some "injector cleaner" added to you fuel tank ?. good luck.

Silly question for you. Since you spent all this money on big ticket items, how come you never mentioned the fuel pump relay? I would have started with that then gone and spent the money if that didn't work. Since you spent the money and didn't mention the fuel pump relay. Try that and see if that works, otherwise back to the dealer for a diagnostic run through and as a final thought, sometimes the fuel pump that is installed is no good, even though it is new. Need a fuel pressure reading with the new pump to insure that it is good, but start with the fuel pump relay.

Yes you can just change the fuel pump, there are genuine and aftermarket options available, You need to remove the original pump from the cradle and this will allow you to confirm the size of the replacement pump.

You might also want to check your fuel filter and your fuel pump for proper operation before going on so that you dont spend more for uneccessary repairs.

Last week my 2000 olds alero stalled when i came to a stop. Then my anilock brake, service vehical, and trac light came on. Changed fuel filter and fuel pump. It does it again today!!! Please help.

None of those lights having anything to do with stalling or fuel filter or fuel pump.
As for the ABS, etc, this is likely due to the wheel speed sensors not reporting properly. While one or more of them could be bad (wheel hub replacement), these circuits are notorious for poor connections, corrosion, or bad wiring due to age.
The wheels speed sensors can be tested before replacing. Start with getting the ABS codes scanned. This will tell you which sensors are having problems.
Before any of this, you should look at the other engine codes and address the stalling, etc first. Scanning the engine and looking at air flow, fuel trim, etc will guide you to the next step. Have you changed the air filter recently?

it's the EGR valve and can be fixed by anyone. It involves disconnecting the battery, remove electrical connection, and removing 2 screws and cleaning the surface area well and replacing it as well as the gasket. A new EGR valve runs around $120 and trust me you can fix this and save hundreds!

My 2004 intrepid is running hot and stalling at stops v6/3.5 ltr.

It all depends. Your car will stall due to overheating. The cheapest way to find out, replace the thermostat. Pay attention to the directions on installation so you do not end up installing it upside down.

After doing this....see how your vehicle runs. If it still runs hot, then your pump may be the culprit.

Engine stalls when slowing down

I'm had a similar problem with my Caravan this past October. Ask your mechanic to check the fuel pump and oxygen sensor. There was a recall on Airtex fuel pumps in 24,000 2000 Caravans in 2006, so might want to see if it was one of the affected pumps and it can be replaced for free. Good luck!
