Could be the steering box or gear... check there for the noise. You really can't tell where noise comes from from inside a car. They can be very transient

SOURCE: Clicking while turning

Have you been the one doing the work if not fire your mechanic. It sounds to me like a wheel bearing.
to check jack up the front wheels , leave the tires on, then grab teh tire move the wheel up/down then left/right then in/out if it moves in any of these directions you got a problem in and out is the bearing, left to right a steering componant, up down ball joint general slop is either a CV joint or the wheel bearing again.
If that is all good on both sides then is may be teh trransmission has an issue get it to a shop for a look. hope this helps

This problem is caused by the headlight gear being stripped. If you go on ebay, there is someone who sells brass headlight gears. Once you put the gear in, you will not have this problem again. . . unless the other gear goes bad. It's usually the driver's side headlight that does it.

OK I did see a couple of other suggestions but unless I read your question wrong your vehicle is not running when this is happening and right away i thought of two basic things when parking on a grade. They are first thing is when either parking up hill or down hill you always turn your wheels towards the curb and second you should always use the parking brake even though many people call it the emergency brake it really the vehicles parking brake when you have a ma

Clickin from tranmission when turning right or parked with driver side down hill

The CV joints have worn out on car. They can be replaced I would do both left an right if you do, one is not far behind the other. Common complaint you have. If you do it yourself make sure you have all the tools. Really should have a mechanic do the job. Sometimes on older cars things get stuck an difficult to remove. Some special tools are needed at times. But its a common on front wheel drive cars

I got a GMC Sierra with a 350 engine and a 7r400 transmission. My issue is when I turn left and right or go up hills my transmission has issues shifting. Transmission good its been removed and checked out....

okay the transmission is probably fine ,,,but if you are having these problems like this have your trans axles checked out ..anytime you put the vehicle in a bind that creates hard shifting you are heading for expensive repairs ..Have the ball joints checked as well to see if all of this smooths the transmission out ..It could be something simple ..also remember that a faulty steering can cause this

Key will not turn on.steering is is in park

try shaking steering wheel from left to right while at the same time turning the key towards the "on" position.if you're parked on a hill, this is not unusuall. it happens at times. you may need to release the parking brake and shake the car backwards and forwards to release the car from park. suggest you enlist a couple volunteers to assist. MAKE SURE YOUR VOLUNTEERS DO NOT STAND IN FRONT OR REAR OF THE CAR AT ANYTIME. rock the car back and forth while turning the key to the on position.this works 90 per cent of the time. sometimes when parking on a hill this happens. in the future when parking on a hill,1st put the emergency brake on,then apply parking brake to insure of this issue. then put the car in park. as a retired tow truck driver i have seen this's not uncommon for the transmission to bind when parked on a hill,or up against a curb, not on a hill. wish you the best of luck,if you need further assistance, please repost your question to

It starts In 3rd and when in 5th while still accelerating, a noise which sounds like it's coming from drivers front side, the best I can describe it is it sound like a commercial paint shaker shaking a...

Noises from axles can be really deceiving. The sound is transfered throuh the transaxle and can resonate through the entire vehicle. The turning to the left thing makes it sound like a problem in the right wheel/axle area. Wheel bearings and axles tend to make worse noise when they are on the OUTSIDE of the turn. More of the vehicle weight is shifted to the outside due to centrifugal force. Thus, if the noise is louder when turning left, this puts the right axle to the outside of the turn and the most likely to be the source of the noise. (and vise-versa) The fact that the noise calms down while cruising makes me believe that it is not a wheel bearing. Wheel bearings can make more noise in turns, however, they usually make a "roaring" or loud "humming" noise that gets louder with speed. An axle is more likely to change or get louder according to engine load more than rotational speed. (Way worse while accelerating or climbing a hill) I would be taking a hard look at the right axle.

Its more then likely a wheel bearing. Try taking it down the highway and turning left and right erratically. Almost like a swerve. If you hear the noise I would put money down on the wheel bearing.

Can't take it out of park

Did you happen to park on a slight hill? If so, try having some friends push the car upwards on the hill while you sit in the driver's seat and try to take it out of park. Be very ready to press the brake as soon as you feel it release! You wouldn't want to roll over your friends feet! :) The car should only need to move a few inches to get the "bind" out.

Front end and steering wheel shakes

when slowing to make right turn is it more like a clicking noise, does it do it while turning or just when slowing down. If it is while you are turning it is most likely the right cv axle drive shaft popping. When at a stop with ac on does it shake if you put it in park and how do the rpms read in park or in drive. Did they change the trans mount also dont thank that is it just trying to get a better understanding so I can better assist you.
