Question about 1999 Volkswagen Passat
My 1.8 Turbo passat turns on and remains on for about 3 seconds and shuts off. I don't know what exactly happened here. When it shuts off its this clicking noise at the fuse side/box. Can anyone identify what could be problem.
There is one detail (thing) in your car, wich controls gasoline suppling to engine. i don't know how it is called in english, but approximatly it can be called as electric regulator of fuel, because it controls how much fuel should be supplied to engine when the transmission is on neutral position. AND WHEN THIS DETAIL goes wrong (for example: by the reason of mess) fuel suppling is not correct (less then it is nesesarry) and engine is not able to work properly.
In my oppinion this can be the reason.
hope it will hepfull.
