You will need to call a VW dealer and ask for the parts department. Give them the Vin of your car and they should be able to pull the information for if it is a factory unit. They may also need the model number of the radio... Located on the back of the radio, so you may have to take it out.

2002 Holden combo an radio doesn't work no code asked at a Holden office gave vin they said they haven't got it what now?

Did they do a search for radio code through Holden for you or did they say unable to locate code after search? If they have carried out a search and no code is availible then unless you can find a radio specialist who can unlock the radio i would advise replacing it.Due to it's age personally i would fit a new unit.Good luck.

Put new batteries in truck need reset code to work radio

usually 4 zeros. If that doesn't work, phone your local dealer for the default factory code. I don't think anyone puts codes into radios these days.

Radio code

RADIO CODES
These codes are anti theft security codes and each one is unique to the car VIN number and the radio chassis serial number. The code was give to the original owner along with entry instructions to reset the radio whenever the battery has been disconnected. What you must do now is contract the dealer for instructions on how to retrieve the code to unlock the radio. There may be a charge for this and you may also need to remove the radio from the dash, it varies by module and year.

Lost radio code

Radio lock out codes are security related, and each code is unique to the car and the radio in that car, and that unique code was supplied with the original paper work when the car was delivered to the original owner to discourage theft, so they are not published on the internet, if they were what would be the point?? any thief could get the code after stealing your radio. Contact the dealer for instructions and what info u need to get your cars unique radio code. The dealer will require the serial number off the radio and proof of ownership of the car it came from.

Replaced battery in 1996 Honda Accord which deactivated radio.

You need to code ..punch in code then power radio up and it will work. For a fee if its the original radio for this car the code can be retrieved by the dealer. If you entered to code incorrectly more than 4 times you will need to disconnect battery for 30 second and re-enter code. good luck and thanks for using FIX YA

I have no idea what the radio code for my 93 honda accord ex is. Ive only had the car a few months. No paperwork came with it. All the dealerships are saying to bring in the car, and they can pull out...

The problem is the same as I have with my '01 VW. The radio self locks on power loss and the correct code must be entered on power-on. It's a theft deterrent idea that does work. So well in fact that without knowing the code, you're almost out of luck.

Now, each radio has a different serial number, and the code is listed by the radio's actual serial number. The VIN cannot tell you exactly which radio went into that car, so getting the code isn't really possible by just the VIN number. The best idea for you, pull the radio yourself (if you're able) then talk to the dealer with the actual serial number for the radio. Then can then look into the records for that radio on get the code for you. :) I hope this helps bud!
