Question about 1993 Toyota Tercel
But only when it's in gear. Found the problem- it's a little box on the driver's side by the windshield that has something to do with the sensor hoses, but I can't find out what it's called! None of the guys at the auto parts store can find it either. What is it so I can get it fixed? :)
If the little box has two vacuum hoses connected and one wire plug then its your A/C idle up VSV. Before you replace it remove the wire plug and put 12Volts to one and Ground to the other you should hear the valve move inside. Also when there is no power to it you shouldn't be able to blow through the vacuum lines. When its powered you should be able to blow air through it.
