Question about Mazda Tribute

1 Answer

Radio dead I have a 2001 Mazda Tribute 3.0 I recently had it serviced and when I got it back the radio was dead. No clock, no power, no display. Battery is good, checked the 2 fuses I could find both good and no corrosion. Any ideas? it is the factory 6 cd changer and there is no mention of a unlock code in the manual.

How do I remove the factory cd/radio from 2001 mazda tribute? the 4 holes supposed to be there for removing the stereo are not there.

There are two 3/8 inch wide black trim pieces on either side of the radio - look at the sides of the radio and you'll see them. Carefully pry them off and you will see the holes.
