From what I have read the flashing cruse light is to get you to fix the problem. Any cel will throw the cruse light and cruse will not work. Get your abs checked out and cruse will work again when fixed.

SOURCE: cruise control won't engage

most likely the clock spring is not the problem because when u push the button the dash light cruise comes on.wich means that you do not have an open circuit.with a light tester check to see if you are getting power to the cruise control servo.if you are then replace it.if no power you will need a new cruise control stick on the steering column.

SOURCE: 1997 MB C280 ABS light -replaced stop

The ABS warning light only comes on and stays on when a fault exists in the ABS system, when the fault is repaired the light will be turned off by the ABS control module. There are many components in the ABS Brake system that can turn the light on when they malfunction, so when this light is on you will need the dealer to hook up a special tool called a scanner, it will read the fault code that is turning the light on in the dash display, then based on that code(s) the technican performs diagnostics and repairs or replaces the failed part. Guessing is not an option here as all the parts of the system are very expensive, so proper diagnostics are the only way to minimize the expense of repair.

i currently own 2 of these trucks, in total ive had 6 of them .. i know i must like abuse on your cruise not working. try this the big flat panel on your dash under the steering wheel. remove this is assuming you have a tilt unit. money bets you do. but anyways the main feed wire i think its called D3 goes out to the fuse box as well as many other wires and a very fine i think again green wire. the problem is that over time using the tilt under normal circumstances those wires start to break. the D3 goes right to the key switch. if that breaks while out on the road. you have 4200 pound paper weight. good place to start. as for your brake light and abs most likley its the abs card or trigger that is located on the center of the rear axle housing. alot of times just replacing the card. if it comes back in a week then its probobly the trigger. not that its broke. this thing goes thru the housing and reads the teeth on the ring gear. and any little wear or a slight chip and they dont read right.. i quit fixing this problem on mine.truth is this thing is the second most delicate thing on the truck... the junk transmissions are the first.. sorry had to say it

2001 Pontiac aztek cruise control stopped working along with the ABS

Cruise control fuse # 31 10amp located in the under hood fuse / relay box an HZDFL fuse # 40 15amp located in the center console fuse box . If you pull the plastic side panel off of the right side of the console there is a fuse box inside . If the fuse are good the control module could be bad . Could also be turned off because the ABS has a problem .
DTC P1554 - do you know what a diagnostic trouble code is ?

The powertrain control module (PCM) has the ability to inhibit cruise control operation if conditions exist that would make cruise operation undesirable. The following conditions may inhibit cruise control operation:
• The engine speed is too high or too low.
• The vehicle speed is too high or too low.
• The traction control has been active for longer than 1 second.
• The vehicle acceleration or deceleration rate is too high

If the ABS light is on ,there are DTC'S stored in the system . Your best bet , take it to a GM dealer or someother qualified repair shop.

brake and abs light check brake fluid level. The round float in the master cylinder directly controls the 2 dash lights.
The light is NOT directly controlled by the master cylinder float. The light is controlled by the ABS Module, which location depends on your vehicle. There are a number of different reasons the lights come on. If it comes on but shuts back off within seconds, don't worry about it, that occasionally happens when it gets a bad signal ("nonlatching error"). In rear-wheel-drive (RWD) vehicles, it is common for the differential speed sensor in the rear differential to go bad. You can pick up a Haynes manual to find if you can do at-home diagnostics (Temporarily grounding out the diagnostic lead will cause the ABS light to flash out a pattern indicating the error)

Check the Brake Pressure switch ( also known as SPEED CONTROL DEACTIVATION SWITCH ) which is located below the Brake fluid master cylinder for leakage. The leakage can cause both lights to stay on and also cruise control control not working

ABS light and all wheel drive light in 2009 impreza 2.5i

The common denominator here is a speed sensor. If your speedometer is working fine and your cruise control operates properly, then I'd guess you have a faulty wheel speed sensor. Rain will definitely aggravate a failing sensor, since they are only a few inches from the road.

Horn doesn't work, abs light on dash stays on and also cruise control does not work either

Typical reason for no cruise and horn is a bad clock spring underneath the airbag. Typically you have an airbag light on as well and not an abs light

The cruise control on my 2001 just quit working i have checked the fuses and all are ok while driving i can engage the criuse control and the cruise light comes on for an instant almost like a flash any...

A vehicle speed sensor provides a signal for the cruise control and also for the ABS braking and the overdrive function. I would start with finding the fuse for the cruise control in your owners manual. Also some cruise controls have vacuum lines attached, if so, check for cracked or broken vacuum lines. Good luck.

Random lights coming on in the dash and stalling occasionally

See if you can find out if there is a code for the check engine lite and the abs, those can be related if the speed sensor located on the top of the rear axle is intermittantly failing. That sensor sends the speed signal to the pcm and the abs controler witch will also turn off the cruise control.
