Question about 1999 Bentley Arnage
On the hydro suspension system there are spheres which act as shock dampers. These are pumped up by the engine pump and run around 2400psi max.
As the wheels move up and down the 'ram' you would call the shock absorber displaces fluid into and out of the sphere/s. If these spheres are more than 6 years old, they go hard, because the nitrogen gas in them has leaked away. ( Gaseous Physics. They all do it. Nitrogen has a smaller molecual than the rubber trying to contain it.)
This nitrogen gas pushes a thick rubber diaphragm towards the hydraulic fluid acting as a spring. The small orifice the fluid has to pass through into and out of the sphere acts as a damper to the wheels movements up and down. A sensor on the axle/s keeps the pressure in the system at the correct ride hight.
You need new spheres if they have never been replaced.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Normally if you use the key and turn it to the left and then to the right the car will start on the resident battery and all will be well. Do not use the start button. If all lelse fails then put a battery charger into the two cigar light sockets for 1 hiur at max 10 amp with ignition turned of and with wires trapped in closed door to switch all coutesy lights off and then there will be enough for the trunk lock to energise. If it is later spec there will be a handle in the trunk accessible thru the centre arm rest by an arangutang!""

Unfortunately they make this propriatary information and require their own computer to do so. I wish that I had better news. You can call Alber's Rolls Royce in Zionville @ (317)873-2360 and the service dept. there may be able to assist another professional (you) in getting the secretive codes. They have always been good to me.

Testimonial: "Hi I spoke to Chris at Albers ( we have been using them for years and it is a dealer only code reader Thanks B"
Know a fellow with a Bentlet He basically has to keep battery on atricle charger most of the time or it won't start. You don't always get what you pay for!
