Question about 1992 Toyota Pickup
If i stab the gas pedal it will get up to 2500-2575rpms then feels like im pressing the break on and off over and over again. no engine light,replaced the tps,mafs,plugs,wires distributer,and cap,check the cat.,cleaned fuel rails and replaced the fuel injectors, pep boys had it for about 3 weeks and no one can figure it out!

Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator. Could also be that the timing jumped. But I'm leaning towards the pressure regulator. Hope that I could help. Best wishes.

you have to understand that there is a leak in the system other than the gas cap for the evaporative system. The system needs to be professionally closed, and smoke introduced into to find the leak, and a through component check, eg.. purge valve vapor canister vent solenoid all functioning correctly

When was last healthy tune up? Plugs, wires, ALL fluids & filters? I'd start there, then check tire pressures to make sure they're up.
