If the coolant came back on the Intake it needs lower intake gaskets. The antifreeze is seeping up around the bolts.

SOURCE: picture of 03 impala 3400 firing order?

The side of the engine closest to the radiator is the even number cylinders, 2-4-6. The side next to the firewall is1-3-5.

Looking at the coils from the front of the engine the one on the left is 5-2, center 3-6, right side 4-1. If the coils haven't been replaced the cylinder numbers will be on the top of the coil. The plug wires will also have the cylinder numbers on them if they have not been replaced

3400 liter engine. What should the own readings be on a fuel injector?

Should be right around 12 ohms.

the beauty of testing injectors is that you dont need to know the spec. All of the injectors should be about the same. If one or more reads lower (typically read lower) than you found a bad one.

The injectors on this engine are prone to sticking so an ohm check may reveal normal readings but the injector can still not be working. There are two things you can do.
1. use a long screwdriver to touch the injector with the engine running and place your ear on the handle. you should hear a distinct clicking noise. If you find one that is not making noise try lightly tapping on it with the srewdriver. You may find that it will start working and the engine idle will smooth out.
2. you can pick up an injector tester made by OTC tools fairly cheap. You can then use a fuel pressure gauge to see if the injector is working compared to the other injectors. Sometimes this can also be done with a high end scan tool as well.

The engine does have to be raised. The bolts are not easy to get to until the engine is lifted and the engine mount is removed. I'm doing this job right now and the book time is around 5 hours.

This may be due to the front endcone insulation from the catalytic converter breaking away and blocking the front of the first catalyst brick and preventing the free flow of exhaust gas through the converter.
