It sounds to me like the theft deterrent is activating, so it is either not reading the key or the ignition switch is getting warn out inside. You may have to replace one or both an then get it reprogrammed.

I cant start my car because it has immobilised

factory IMMO or Aftermarket?
how do you know that, dash cluster lamp IMMO glows.
how? or just wont start and you assume it?
It is an option, i checked. on the new car.

due to battery disconnected?
or you did so to reset IMMO?
you need to check fuses first.
then scan the PCM first

disconnect battery longer.? say 1/2hr
do so at the NEG lug. for safety
IMMOs are reset them selves each key on, but
pulling battery can help. but the IMMO will need to discharge
its internal capacitors fully, thus the 1/2 hr delay.
there are tricks to discharge faster but, that varies.

bypassing them is not hard.
some are easy others are you must replace whole ECU or get it reprogrammed by hackers.
join the Nissan real forum and ash there. they never come here.

the newer the immobilizer the more impossible it becomes to fool.

ever use google ever try this.

this works for all cars, do that and post to the exact car forum
and get fast accurate and anwers.
an on IMMO questions, and hacking , times 10000. better.

JEEP WJ 2000
starts and cranks are 2 different things, so i cant follow this.
my guess its the starts for 2 seconds and stalls.
which is IMMO, set. if the IMMO is set , all starts end in, cut fuel.

Lost keys for my 98 buick century custom changed ignition now car will not start and i never had a problem before i changed the ignition can someone help me

General:U may deal a immo problem (that cuts fuel antitheft future),hard to pass without reprograming a key (u may use bypass but is a shop work).Cheers hope u deal it.Let the masses know.Note:if there is no immobiliser instaled, the ignition barrel have a inner swich must be in goood condition (the car cranks)If the immo is not there, and the car cranks ok,then u have to track the problem:spark condition/fuel condition.

05 Kia Sedona 2.9 diesel, sometimes doesnt start

if the immo light doesnt come on it means the ecu has left the immobilizer on. it is a commen fault on kia. if you lock and unlock the car or sometimes just take the key out the ignition then put it back in it sorts the problem. if you dont see the IMMO light dont attempt to start it because it wont fire

If the chip in a key for a 94 cadilac ingnition key glitches up will the lights and stuff still come on but the car not start?

yes the lights on the dash will light up as usual but the car wont start as it is immobilised if the chip in the key has stopped working, usually there is a red light that flash's somewhere on the dash and when the car recognises the key the light will stay on and the car will start! if te chip is gone the car will ight up as usual but it wont start as it will be immobilised although on a car of the age yours is the immobiliser will be simple to bypass if you hav'nt got the knowledge an auto electrician shoul be able to sort it out with in a hour so it won;t be exphensive.

Our renault megane scenic which is 1998 keeps not starting sometimes it does and othertimes it just wont start for ages. we got aa out one time and they thought it might of been the key. its getting...

if the red light flashes on the dash its going to be an immobiliser fault, normally it is the key that is at fault, the keys are pricey about £80 plus programmimg, but you can manually override the immobiliser on the early scenics, just pop into your renault dealer and ask for your immobilser code, normally charge a tenner or so, and ask if someone can show you how to put it in.
