Room a 700 dead for days and now won't charge.error 5

Roomba video says that you can flip that thing over, remove a couple of screws and there is the battery - they recommend you clean the contacts located in an unusual bottom of the battery location and look down inside the cavity to see if there is any debris preventing the battery from being charged
- put the battery back in with the logo up and the make sure that the contacts will make contact with the battery - then put it back into the charger and see what happens - Is the unit that old?
Could it require a new battery? Good Luck

My 2010 Acadia has a hard time starting. Sometimes barely turns over. Is it the starter or the alternaror. Just replaced the battery and it didnt make a difference

Remove the battery leads and clean posts/contacts. with a wire brush. Clean the connectors on the end of the wire in a similar manner. Rub contacts with Vaseline. Wait two hours, put key in the ignition and reconnect the battery.

The alternator only charges the battery. If it is faulty, the Red battery light will come on.

The starter may be weak, but they usually work, or don't work.

Charge the battery overnight with a battery charger to make sure the battery is full of charge.

If it still does it, you need an auto electrician and a battery stress test and the output of the alternator checked. My thought is dirty contacts and low battery charge.

How to change battery in 2008 dodge avenger

Disconnect negative battery cable first then positive then remove battery hold down screws and install in reverse. Use rubber gloves to prevent battery acid with skin contact. I prefer using rubber pliers on negative battery cable. I feel its safer. When putting negative battery cable on, place on holding rubber part not the metal contacts.

My abtronic x2 belt is not working anymore after changing batteries. most of the buttons don't answer

you must sure if the batteries are o.k and put in good position. However clean the contacts batteries from oxide, dirty, corrosion, and tight the spring contacts with plyer for smooth contacts.

God bless you

How do i know if a fuse is blown

fuses usually turn black when they blow.
If not get a car bulb use a bare wire to make contact with the bulb and battery. touch the other contact to the battery to verify bulb is working.
connect bulb to fuse contact
touch battery with unused fuse contact.
then connect bulb to other battery terminal with wire.
bulb should light if fuse is ok

easy way trade position with another fuse of the same color

It takes several attempts for the remote to work, could that be a weak battery

possible solutions:

weak batteries
batteries not seated correctly or too loose against contacts
battery contacts have corrosion on them (use a pencil eraser to clean terminals)
rare: button solder connection failing.

Always check/replace the batteries prior to further troubleshooting.

I have a ford ranger 95 and the remote has new batteries but doesnt work

Sometimes the battery contacts inside the remote get bent and don't make contact. try carefully bending the contacts so that they are tight against the battery and see if that helps.

Remote will not work

First replace the battery in the remote and if the problem persists you may need to bend the battery contacts inside the remote to be sure they are making contact as this is a common problem. Just be extremely careful NOT to break the battery contacts as this will render the remote useless.

Intermittent starting problem. Won't turn over. I cleaned the battery cables and tried to boost it but it won't turn over

check voltage at the battery, then if 12 to 13volts you know its a bad not jump off a good battery it will explode anyway its probably a connection around the starter or bad cable all together allthough I have had car batteries that have poles on top and on the side of the battery and test bad on the side and good on top
