Question about 2000 Ford Expedition
Changed all sencers still atalls when you put the car in drive or reverse.
Check the air idle control valve, it may not be working or dirty with carbon build up. Check the wire harness to the valve and try cleaning it with throttle body cleaner, do not use carb cleaner. You might get away with just spraying a Can of throttle body cleaner through the throttle body, follow the instruction on the can and use the whole can. After your done, turn the engine off and place the ignition key to the run position for 30 seconds then turn it to the off position for 10 seconds. Start the car and let idle for 1 min before going for a test drive, that will reset the base line for the air idle control valve. Good luck and hope this helps, If the problem still there then the air idle control valve needs to be replaced.
