SOURCE: 1999 FORD EXPEDITION VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR

It should be on the back of the transmission near where the driveshaft goes in. Buy a new one, jack up your truck and look for the old one on the back of the transmission

SOURCE: I got a camshaft position sensor malfunction code P0340.

it sounds like you have bigger problems if your car does not crank(turn over) then your timing belt could have broken and the one piston could be hitting a valve causing it to be locked up.normally when any sensor is bad car engine still cranks it just doesn't start.

I have 2000 ford ranger four wheel drive 3.0 and the speedometer is not work and codes po500 vehicle sensor where is it located

Your "Vehicle Speed Sensor" refers to two systems. In your situation it is your transmission mounted speed sensor. It is externally mounted and easy to replace. The other system is known as your "ABS sensors. They are located behind both front rotors and the rear one is on the drive-axle. But I don't think we need to get into that. If I can be anymore help, let me know, good luck.

Failed OBDII Diagnstic trouble codes P0761 and O1744 What does this mean?

code P0761-
Possible causes - Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Faulty shift solenoid 3 valve
- Shift solenoid 3 valve harness or connectors
- Shift solenoid 3 valve circuit is open or shorted
P0761 FORD Description Shift solenoid valve 3 is turned ON or OFF by the Transmission Control Module (TCM) in response to signals sent from the park/neutral position (PNP) switch, vehicle speed and Engine Control Module (ECM) (throttle opening). Gears will then be shifted to the optimum position. When is the code detected? The P0761 code is detected when the ECM has detected a mechanical fault with the solenoid energized, valve stuck off code O1744- is not a code these are the ones I have found that come close

1999 ford windstar has a p01309 code. what's the fix to make the code go away? thanks

The code means that there's too much variance in the speed of the firing of the cylinders and therefore the misfire monitor is disabled, in a nut shell the pcm is saying the car is running too rough to pinpoint exactly which cylinder is misfiring.

This can be caused by problems with

cam sensor or circuit
CPS = crank position sensor or circuit
MAF sensor or circuit
CTS = coolant temp sensor or circuit
PCM

My question is how is the car running? If it is running smoothly I would check synch of the cam sensor (requires special tool) and or replace it.

1999 ford windstar has a misfire code

Look at the coil pack, these are known to develop cracks, usually on the underside in the resin, you have to remove it to tell. It is much easier to reomve with the wiper cowl removed.
