Scan test for misfire code/s than move spark plug and wire to other cylinders, clear and recheck misfire info, if it moved than replace plugs or wires, if it didnt change, check ignition coil for output, if ok , than check compression, if ok , than check injector circuit with noid light, and measure injector impedence, if ok back pressure test exhaust for plugged cat.

Lately 1995 sonata shakes at idle very badly and especially in reverse, sometimes shakes so much it stalls please help.

Go to and register( Vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you have access to shop manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, etc. about your vehicle.Take/Tow your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.
