Trim Paint Code or Color for Front Grille

Want to repaint the faded front grille of the Trooper. It seems to be a hue of gray, possibly with some metallic? I have not found the color in writing Isuzu online groups, original brochures, paint stores, or auto parts stores. Thank you in advance for your assistance in finding the paint color.

Fig. 5: Retainer clip used to secure the front grille
  1. Raise the hood and support it with the prop rod.
  2. On 1981-94 models, remove the retainer screws from around each headlight.
  3. Remove the retainer screws from the corners and center of the grille.
  4. Using a small prytool to press the tab on each of the grille retainer clips at the top of the grille upward while pulling the grille away from the radiator support.
  5. When all the tabs have been released, lift the grille up slightly and out to remove.
To install:
  1. Engage the lower portion of the grille into the radiator support.
  2. Carefully push the grille toward the radiator support, making sure the retainer clips align with their respective mounting hole. Once all the holes align, press the grille and retainer in until it clicks into position.
  3. Install the retainer screws from the corners and center of the grille.
  4. On 1981-94 models, install the retainer screws around the headlight.

Hope helps (remember rated this).

I have a 2001 Vw Beetle. The front bumper grille

Your best bet is to call & speak directly to a VW parts dept & ask them. U can order whatever parts u need online & probably save $ but call & find out what parts u really need. If its needs a certain paint color only the dealer will be able to order the original parts or u may have to have it painted to your want. Good Luck
