Hay might have posted problem already but her it goes i have a 2002 saturn l300 3.0 and i started it one day and the engine light came on and had no power would not rev over 1500 or so would barely move so a gm mechanic looked at and told me the timming belt jumped so i replaced the timming belt but it was not out of time so when i put it back together it would not start and has no power to the fuel relay and the gas gauge reads empty when it is full and when i wiggle the wire harness sometimes just breifly the relay will power up and work but only sometimes and just breifly any help please

You need to get someone who has an OBD2 scanner to plug into the diagnostic link and see what the computer is saying the problem is. Sounds like you have an electrical short, but without a scanner, it could be many things and you would be guessing and searching like a needle in a hay stack.

have your cat checked could be plugging up

if your ground is bad or has a short the cable then acts a reverse deducter when car is off try changing the ground wire or yhe light switch

those vehicles are common for starters did two today alone when it wont start try to tap it with a hammer it on the back side of the engine under the intake if it starts replace starter

after 10 miutes does it reset security and car starts.? probably bad key cylndar. see other posts on how to remove and replace. should fix issue.

sounds like a bad crank sensor,nothing you did wrong,just a common 3.0 v6 saturn issue,its located on the front of the engine block under the car by the oil filter housing,,,like $115 for the sensor

try your spare key it sounds like the transponder in the key is going bad
