What could be causing my 1998 Dakota SLT with 3.9l to blow 10A fuse F9?

An electrical short in that circuit that the fuse is for. Find out either on the fuse box cover what the fuse is for or see what is not electrically, not working without the fuse. Trace your wiring to find the short (or take it in)

The f9 fuse keeps blowing when putting the car in reverse on my 2005 ford focus

The only thing that will cause a fuse to blow is more amperage going through that circuit than the fuse is rated for. Normally that means there is a short to ground somewhere in that circuit. Finding that short can be difficult.

I am looking for a fuse box layout for a 1998 jaguar xj6 as i need to find the fuse for the cigarette lighter

The fuse for cigarette lighters is number 9 = F9 (20A).

12. F12 (5A) = Instruments

Window wipers not working unable to access fuse

Apparently there has been a problem in the past with faulty car alarms which have caused the window wipers to fail. I did have an alarm problem 24 hours prior, which self corrected, so the car is going for rectification this week under warranty. The service manager did state that they had never had a problem with any of the fuses in the location mentioned in the problem.
