Question about 2003 Pontiac Grand Am
Keep going out.it has been in the shop twice only to work a week and then 1,2 and 3 go out again. they say i need a new blower motor now but the fan works great on 4 and 5. do i need a new motor fan???it will cost over $300.00 thank you
Just had mine fixed by a local pontiac dealer for the same problem your having.Just as noonews stated that was the problem.Total cost was 138.00 parts/labor and blower works great now.

Inside the blower housing under the dash by the floor is a resistor that fits inside the housing. It gets damp and burns open. Cheap to buy part, takes a contortionist to replace. I managed, and I'm old. It has two wires going to it.
