2010 Chevy Silverado wouldn't start after a night of freezing temps. Tried starting it with a portable charger. Negative side touched something and now it won't do anything. What should I do?

hello

you will have to go into the big black box under the hood where the fuses are and check the start relay(read box for location) swap with another one just to see if the motor will turn over. if so replace with new one. good luck

Where is the evap solenoid located on 2010 silverado? got the po449 code

P0449 is a code for the EVAP vent solenoid. You can find the vent solenoid on a support at the rear of the fuel tank. You have a electrical problem if you have only this code in the memory of the powertrain module. May be it's a broken wire(most of the time) or a
short to ground wire.

Need to find wires for power lock &power unlock am installing a remote start these wires are for the power door locks on 2010 ridge line

If your 2010 Ridgeline is the same as the 2009, the wires colors and location are listed below;

Power Lock pink/black - MICU, green 30 pin plug, pin 25
The MICU (Multiplex Integrated Control Unit) is part of the dash fuse box, in the driver kick. It has 2 plugs on the left side edge of the fuse box. Meter this wire while pressing the passenger door lock switch.
Power Unlock pink/blue - MICU, green 30 pin plug, pin 9
The MICU (Multiplex Integrated Control Unit) is part of the dash fuse box, in the driver kick. It has 2 plugs on the left side edge of the fuse box. Meter this wire while pressing the passenger door lock switch.

I have a 2010 Silverado LT would like to know if I can make at least th driver side a power seat

yes go to the junk yard find the truck just like yours and make sure it has the power seat and exchage it with yours but your going to have to run a hot wiree from your fuse box to the seat and also a ground wire it should work fine the only problem with that is your going to have to keep pluggin the wire to the fuse box because often it will fall out

2002 silverado 1500 wiring diagram where can i get a copy? i need to wire it for a trailer.

Look in your glove box and see if you have the PRO code U89: wiring harness, car trailer
It's common to have the trailer harness already installed in your Silverado without you know and the dealer can pull it out for you from where it's tucked up in the frame passenger side by the spare tire for the simple cost or $65.00.

Thank you for using fixya and good luck.

2001 silverado- I am trying to install factory fog lights in my truck and i installed the button, bought the relay, and installed the lights. I got the wires for the fog lights from the junkyard but am not...

GM installs wiring harnesses and fuse blocks configured according to the original options for the vehicle. While the fuse block may have a spot for the relay, that doesn't mean the wiring is installed under the block for it, and that presents a problem as contacts in the block are pressed in and wired for specific options, and may be missing for this option in your truck. Even though you may have the fog light wires to connect to the relay and there is a place for the relay in the fuse block, there may not be the necessary relay socket connectors installed and they are almost impossible to retrofit (although you can try if the fog light wires you have also have the correct connector on the ends).

You can check if all necessary relay socket connectors are installed, and if so, you could try to figure out which wire is installed for the connection you are trying to make, and connect the purple wires to that wire. Otherwise, you may have to install the relay away from the block, and then make the necessary wiring connections (power, ground and output) to it.

2006 Silverado Slide-in camper harness --- No power --- Do I need to plug it in somewhere under the dash? I want to use the 12vdc and ground to power a sprayer tank but when I unwrapped the harness I don't...

there is a red or red with black trace wire under the hood near the fuse box, it will be taped to the harness. that wire needs to be connected to one of the power studs on the fuse block. you may also have to install a j case fuse into the fuse block for it.
