Idle screw location, 1982 mercedes benz 380sec

Not in less than 25 words, but for your reading pleasure - here you go...There is no "idle screw" on your model mercedes. It is a fuel injected (in other words, not an older normal aspirator type carbuertor), computer controlled idle/air mixture. There is an idle/air speed control valve part (see picture ) that connects to the idle/air control unit (another programmable computer - one of about 20 in this model) that determines idle speed and air/fuel mixture. Mercedes is top of the line, but really too complicated for the average joe to work on. Best to pay the man and take to a mercedes specialist shop.493db71d-2619-442c-8065-798539caa300.jpg

How to remove the door panels on Mercedes Benz?

1) First of all you need to remove the triangular panel near the rear view mirror. The mirror is fitted with clip under it. You will first need to unlock the clip. For this you will require a standard screwdriver.
2) Then there is a screws holding the black metal cover .this screw is fitted on door jamb. Remove this screw.
3) Then its time to remove the air bag badge .the air bag badge is fitted exactly above the door handle. Under that badge you will see a screw. Remove that screw.
4) Now you can pop the bottom of the door panel with a flat screw driver.
5) Once the door panel is pop out. You can wiggle it by pulling the handle and then you can lift the bottom of door panel to make it loose and come out.
6) Once the door panel is out. Take care you don’t pull it as there are wires connected to it. So remove the wires from the door lock.
7) After the wires are removed fit the new door panel assembly and reconnect all the wires to their respective positions.
8) Then reconnect all the other parts which you removed in this procedure.
9) Fix all the screws to their positions.
10) Then check out the door panel.

Location of idle control valve 89 mercedes 300e

The 'idle control' on the 300e is bolted to the second intake tunnel and is a large zylinder with a 2 pole wire connection on one end and a hose connection on the other end. It is NOT ADJUSTABLE.

How to adjust idlefor 1992 mercedes benz 190 e 2.6

do you want to adjust the idle up or down? If your car has too high of an idle, you probably have a vacuum leak. buy a can of starting fluid. Start the car and lightly start spraying starter fluid all over the intake. You will hear the engine change RPMs. When it does, that is where you have a leak. If you want to idle your car up, you will need to adjust your throttle plate. Where your throttle hand moves when you rev your engine, it has a little screw that you can adjust to make the throttle arm stop sooner, allowing more airflow into the engine.

Timing problm

engine timing could be off.for the mercedes benz inline 6 cylinder ignition timing 7 - 11 degrees before top top dead center with idle set speed 650- 700 rpm. make sure engine tuned up before adjusting ignition timing.replace spark plugs and wires, replace distributor cap and rotor.change fuel filter and air filter and clean fuel injectors.if engine still stall out have fuel pressure checked should be 77 - 80 psi. if your car have the EZL CONTROL UNIT ADJUSTS TIMING AUTOMATICALLY NO ADJUSTMENT IS POSSIBLE.

82 benz trunk wont open dead baterry

If you use the key to lock all the doors, the trunk locks also, so if you have a dead battery, you probably don't have vaccuum to open the locks, because all the locks are vaccuum activated. Charge or change the battery and start it up, after a few minutes you should be able to activate the door locks, thus unlocking your trunk.

Good luck...
