IF you are sure that it is the lifters then pull them and have a leak down test done on them. If they fail have them replaced . Check rocker arm bushes and shaft for wear as well as the noise may be there and not the lifters.

it should be on the drivers side underneath the intake plenum just feel for it under there if i remember right its a 7/8" wrench or socket
