Question about 1997 Eagle Talon
My 1997 eagle talon has an after market manifold and the original space for my bank 1 o2 sensor has been moved to the side due to touching the fan . Then whoever did this put in an aftermarket o2 sensor and cut out the connector clip from the car side out . my buddy just unwound the tape and found only 3 of the four wires connected ( auto zone kicked this code out because i was driving on the freeway and it just kept loosing power without dying , i just had to do magic to get it home )the wires from the cars harness are /Black//////Green black stripe////Yellow black stripe///// & Red black stripe[[[[[[[[the aftermarket o2 sensors wires are Blue//Black//Black//& White , i have no idea what goes where , the blue is disconnected , it did this monday , i changed the plugs , it got me about 60 miles and did the same thing this morning ,,,,, thank you in advance for your time and attention to problem
I would go buy a factory o2 sensor cause the aftermarket ones dont work that well anyway and the factory one should have 4 wires and of the same color

SOURCE: 95 eagle talon!!!!!!!!!!!
Start with oxygen sensor and than work your way to the computer. there are several sensors. it can also be your fuel pump. that sometimes happens when either pump or fuel filter are clogged or broken

you got fuel and spark, check the third to the equation, air... maybe you have an obstruction, also if you have a compression guage check the compression. good luck ill check back.

Fuel pump could be acting up i had a Volvo do same thing i had to make a set of long hoses to go from engine to inside the car so i could run car down the road and monitor fuel pressure that's how i tested it, before buying expensive part you should test fuel pump under work load.
