Check the routing of the belt and double-check the functions the belt drives. Most engines will idle higher when in park (or neutral) than when it drive because of the lack of load on the engine. Most engines will also idle more quickly until the engine is aware that it is warmed up. And many engines will idle faster when the alternator output seems to be insufficient. Trouble with the oil pump, water pump, or alternator will cause these functions to fail or just fail to detect properly. Grease accidents on the drive wheels the serpentine belt passes over can also cause the same symptoms, especially if you have one device drive wheel that is on one side of the SB while the others are on the other side. Inspect the operation of the belt and the driven devices while the car is running (please keep fingers, hair, and ties out of moving parts).

Volvo s80 t6 after putting my serpintine belt back on when i started the car a good size of the belt ripped of and wrapped around my harmonic balncer to the timming belt and shut my car right down

Did the piece of serpentine belt actually make contact with the timing belt ? The timing belt should have been behind the timing cover.
And does the engine crank normally ? Normal compression ?

Loss of battery power when car is parked for five hours.

Instead of current check, try to see what the alternator is putting out in volts at idle, then bump it up to about 2000 RPM. It should hover right around 14V. Anything less than 13 and you got a bad alternator.
Also you can do a draw test to see if anythign is pulling your battery down when you are not driving. You take your meter and put it in amps mode and put one lead on the battery neg, and the other on the disconnected neg cable (use your meter to bridge the cable to the battery) and see what you read for amps. Anything more than a few milliamps, and I would start pulling fuses till it goes away. Once it goes away.. you found the circuit that is causing the draw.
