Only stateside ??duck tape/gaffer tape ,you will need to go to dealer to get a new rubber because the moulding is different on nearly every motor .Wonder the police havent pulled you over to check papers and search car then issue a denuncia for driving an unfit motor vehicle

Front passenger window won't roll up

It is your power window motor & regulator, the cable broke. Here is what you do, order one from, that's what I had to do. To remove it you have to remove the door panel take of the plastic water barrier, there are 2 bolts that hold the window in place, then grab the window on both sides & bring it up to the top, take some masking tape or duck tape it to the window on both sides of window to hold the window up take out the 3 bolts that hold the motor in place then take the bolts that hold the regulator, make sure you unplug the connector from the motor then pull the regulator and motor out of the hole at rear of door.
I know this because I had to do the same thing about a week ago.

Left mirror glass keeps falling out when door is closed

get a tube of "grip fix" or "silicon sealent" (instant gasket) or the like and stick it back in holding it there with duck take till the grip fix or silicon sets,,,after that you will need a crowbar to get it out?????
trust me,,,its not going to move,,,,,if you need to remove it,,you will need to "dig it out!"

How to change headlight

open the hood. put your hand on the back of the headlight in the engine area. you will feel a rubber gasket around a hole were wires go in. pull the rubber gasket off using the rubber tab. then unplug the wires from bulb. then theres a little metal hinge kinda, it lifts up and over. once you do that the bulb will come out. replace with new one just dont touch the glass part of bulb. then slide the hinge back over to hold the bulb in place. theres only one way the bulb will fit. replace gasket then plug wires in.

I need to find how the rails that go front to back are fitted to the roof , i know there are three points on each side that have two 6mm alan bolts but thats as far as i know TREVOR

remove the rubber/metal strip that covers the rain gutters they are held in with plastic clips, best done in warm weather. the plastic piece in the back near the spoiler is VERY brittle be carefull there. in the front, middle and rear of that channel you will find the small divots where it looks like tape that was painted over covers the 6mm holes. I used SS 6mm hex button cap screws from fastenall to hold the brackets (home made) down. ***NOTE if you make your own brackets, the front mounting points are lower and slope foreward***. I RECCOMEND 3M 5200 marine adhesive and a gasket to seal between the roof and bracket. you will have to notch and bend the rubber/ metal strip to get it back on OR remove the plastic clips and leave the rain gutter open, it works BETTER this way.

Pontiac grand am leaks water into front floorboard when it rains

I had the same problem on my 97 G AM for about a year now, Water getting on the driver side carpet all the way to the back,it just got worst over time, But I found the problem, you have to look behind the wiper motor where the fire wall meets the bodi ,there is a hire line crack rigth behind the wiper motor where the water coming from the wiper cowling drains from ther is some kind of coulking that is painted the same color as the car, you must clean the area with a screwdriver and soap, and use clear silicon with a coulking gun, you must remove the 2 top wiper motor screws do not remove the botom one not need to and remove the 2 wire plugs and pull the motor back and rotaded upwards know youre clear to do the job; good luck it worked for me.
