Tip

How many fuse boxes are there in Buick 2000 LeSabre?

There are 2 fuse boxes, they are called Bussed Electrical Centers.
The front Bussed Electrical
Center (This is one fuse box) is located in
the front of the engine
compartment on the
passenger’s side. Lift the
cover to gain access

Rear Underseat Bussed Electrical Center (BEC)
The rear BEC is located
beneath the rear seat on the
driver’s side. The rear seat
cushion must be removed to
access the BEC. See
“Removing the Rear Seat
Cushion” in the Index.

What is the bottom fuse p conn for on my 2005 hyundai tuscon 30 amp i have constant draw on my battery

Hi, those are essentially shorting bars to connect rows on the hot buss. You need to check the individual fuses to find the draw. Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5925550-dead_battery_troubleshooting . These are genericinstructions.

Fuel Pump Fuse Blows. It first started when I turned a corner. Changed fuel pump. Idles fine now, step on gas, still runs fine. When I go to move the truck, then fuel pump fuse blows. Especially when I try...

Open the hood. Those vehicles have a buss bar on the inside of the drivers side front fender. ( a buss bar is a strip of plastic, housing locations for wiring connectors running to various components on your car. They are secured to each post by a phillips head screw.) One of those locations is the "hot" for your fuel pump. If by chance you have an exposed section of that wire touching metal somewhere, it will blow the fuse. maybe someone has wired something else to it...causing it to blow.

How do you take the glowplugs out of a tdi jetta

* Do NOT do this on a warm/hot engine. Aluminum threads strip easily*

Pop off the top engine cover

Now, right in front of you you'll see the big fat injectors with the fuel lines attaching them. Just under this all are what look kinda like tall skinny spark plugs with a plastic buss attached to them. These are the glow plugs.

Pull off the buss bar from the plugs one by one, it might take some removing of the flexible fuel lines. and just pull the buss bar out of your was a bit.

Get a deep 10mm socket and an extender and remove the plugs.

When installing the new plugs start them as far as you can by hand w/ socket and extender- don't crank em in there.

Make sure they are more than snug but DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN

If you wanna go all the way torque plugs to 11 ft-lbs

....don't forget to re-connect any fuel return lines you may have removed

Alt fuse 2004 4runner

The fuse is bolted in to the power buss-bar in the fuse box. You have to remove the fuse box center section from the outer section (pull it up) to access the 8 or 10 millimeter bolts that holds it to the buss-bar. No other way to do it.
