When i start my diesel toyota quantum, after idling for 30 seconds engin turns off, what could the problem be?

Either loosing fuel pressure or most likely still has air in the system. Air in the lines and filters can cause a lot of frustration. Bleed all you can from the lines and then do the injectors last. I pressurize the tank with very low air pressure to bleed the system. Use a small air compressor on the fuel tank vent line with the fitting the line came off of plugged to make a little pressure on the tank, turning the pump off as you are in procedure so not to make too much pressure and bleed the filter fitting then the connection at injector pump then the injectors in order as you come to them from said pump. Once done, take the cap off the fuel tank and let the pressure off and re-hook the vent line to tank fill neck. Now that all air is out, it will start and run continuously. Air is evil to diesel systems.

How to bleed the fuel system in the 2009 Mondeo after changing the fuel filter on a diesel

You don't. You just crank the engine until it starts. Modern vehicles work on a pressurised system with a return back to the tank. The fuel is pumped from the tank to the injectors and excess fuel is returned to the tank.

How do you bleed a diesel pump jeep Cherokee turbo diesel 3.1 5 cylinder 2001

we dont have this engine here, USA.
but i have the WG jeep book,
starting page 12 , chapter 14

FUEL INJECTION PUMP BLEEDING
(1) If the fuel injection pump has been replaced,
air should be bled at the overflow valve before
attempting to start engine.
(a) Loosen the overflow valve (Fig. 18) at the
rear of the injection pump.
(b) Place a towel below the valve.
WARNING: WHEN CRANKING THE ENGINE TO
BLEED AIR FROM THE INJECTION PUMP, THE
ENGINE MAY START. PLACE THE TRANSMISSION
IN NEUTRAL OR PARK AND SET PARKING BRAKE
BEFORE ENGAGING THE STARTER MOTOR.
CAUTION: Do not engage the starter motor for
more than 30 seconds at a time. Allow 2 minutes
between cranking intervals.
(2) Crank the engine for 30 seconds at a time to
allow air trapped in the injection pump to vent out
the fuel injector drain tubes. Continue this procedure
until the engine starts. Observe the previous WARNING
and CAUTION.
(3) Tighten overflow valve.
HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL LINE BLEEDING
WARNING: THE INJECTION PUMP SUPPLIES HIGH-
-PRESSURE FUEL OF APPROXIMATELY 45,000 KPA
(6,526 PSI) TO EACH INDIVIDUAL INJECTOR
THROUGH THE HIGH-PRESSURE LINES. FUEL
UNDER THIS AMOUNT OF PRESSURE CAN PENETRATE
THE SKIN AND CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY.
WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES AND ADEQUATE PROTECTIVE
CLOTHING AND AVOID CONTACT WITH
FUEL SPRAY WHEN BLEEDING HIGH-PRESSURE
FUEL LINES.
WARNING: DO NOT BLEED AIR FROM THE FUEL
SYSTEM OF A HOT ENGINE. DO NOT ALLOW FUEL
TO SPRAY ONTO THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD WHEN
BLEEDING AIR FROM THE FUEL SYSTEM.
Bleed air from one injector at time.
(1) Loosen the high-pressure fuel line fitting at
the injector (Fig. 19).
(2) Crank the engine until all air has been bled
from the line. Do not operate the starter motor
for longer than 30 seconds. Wait 2 minutes
between cranking intervals.
(3) Start the engine and bleed one injector at a
time until the engine runs smoothly.

end quote.
pump timing is on next page
or tank filter line priming before. above.

My Pontiac Sunbird 96 ran out of fuel. I need to know how to bleed the system of air. Where is the bleeding line??

you shouldn't need to bleed the air out-if you filled back up with fuel and its not starting you probably have a bad fuel pump-sorry- to bleed the fuel line look where the fuel line connects to the fuel injector rail-on the rail there should be a thing that looks like a tire inflator valve-turn the key on and push in the center of the valve and fuel should come out of it -if not then for sure pump isn't working- cheers Denny

bleed the air out of the pump and loosen the injector line nuts to bleed the injectors

Hello, I have a problem with my passat TDI, 90 HP, year 1997, motor type AHU. I doesnt't start, because i doesn't get any fuel. But when I start the engine with help of start spray, I works normally. ???...

You need to bleed the system.
make sure your fuel filter is primed.
I disconected the fuel line going to the fuel pump and attached a break bleeder to the line, once fuel is pooring out, conect the line.
I then cracked two of the injector lines about 1.5 turns, or until I could wiggle the line just a little. then have somebody crank the car over, when fuel shoots out of the injectors stop the car tigheten up the injectors and fire it up. it worked for me.
