I have a chevy astro van 4.3 there is fuel pressure coming to the fuel injector spider. I like to know how to test the selenoid in the spyder, and where the Selenoid gets the signal of the spray pulsa

Just replace it, no real testing is done as long as one side of the injector has 12 volts and it doesn't spray when you ground it with pressure in the rail..

The engine on my 2000 MPV cuts out and dies when I press the accelerator. After it sits for an hour or so, I can travel for 20 min. or so before the problem starts again. HELP!

if its been a while change the fuel filter and then have the fuel pressure and volume checked.these symptoms are very common for a fuel pump problem.

F250 Van won't start, starter doesn't engage just

The problem you describe is consistant with a faulty starter selenoid. You can check the selenoid by attempting to jump power from the incoming hot selenoid connection to the hot that goes from the selenoid to the starter. Do this with the switch in the "on" postion. If the starter then works, replace the selenoid. Good Luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!

Intermittent starting problem. Turning key does nothing.

Sounds like you could have a faulty switch, but I would check the starter selenoid first. Sometimes when the selenoid goes bad it will behave in the way you describe. If, with your key in the on position, (not on start), you can jump power from the hot wire, (positive), post on your selenoid to the hot wire that goes from the selenoid to the starter and the starter then engages, but doesn't otherwise, it is a selenoid problem. Good Luck! I hope you find this very helpful!
