Ever consider you put the wires on wrong?

Before you do ignition wires ,you need manuals or a diagram
of the firing order, cylinder position & such, eg: you have to be
knowledgeable or you don't work on cars or anything else

You make a diagram of where the wires are, before you remove them & write the cylinder numbers on with a ball point pen, as you
install the new ones & check your work

Car has a miss between 50760 steady speeds . have put on new coil & sparkplugs but still have problem.

I'd open the hood at night in a dark area and watch the plug wires for arcing.

Runnig rough

First make sure the sparkplug wires are ok, this problem sounds like a bad wire or coil,
Start by replacing the plugs and wires and if the problem is still there then replace the ignition coil.

My engine misses when accelerating and when rpm exceeds 2,000. Check engine code was for cylinder #2 misfire. I replaced the sparkplug and wire on #2, #4, & #6 but, have not figured out how to

Maybe try waiting untill dark ,fire it up,open the hood (kill the hood light)
spray the plug wires with windex(not water) and look for sparks ,if any ,put a set of wires on it. I suppect this is the only problem, bad wires will kill coil packs

When idling it jumps a little bit not much just a little?

Sounds like its missing. Have you replaced the sparkplugs rotar buton and wires lately? Or is one of the sparkplug wires touching metal anywhere on the motor? If it is it could be sparking through the wire.

My van is backfiring and it feels like it is missing. sometimes it feels like it will die out. This problem happpens more when I turn the AC on.

The ignition timing is off. Maybe out of sequence.
Did someone change the sparkplugs or the sparkplug wires or the distributor cap?
If so, then the wires were not replaced in the proper order.

Could also be a bad valve spring, or maybe an injector that is leaking.

Please let us know if the wires may have been installed incorrectly.

02 ZX2 runnig poor after spark plug replacement

Solution seems a little miraculous (although I believe in miracles).
I ohmed out each sparkplug wire finding them all good.
I wiped off the little debry that had collected around each seal of both the sparkplug and distributor ends (remember, I keep this engine clean and there was no noticable fluids or dirt before or during this problem).
I then replaced the same plug wires and viola, all is good!

My only thought is that maybe when putting the plug caps down in the sparkplug wells that maybe one or more found their way beside a plug inside of over and on the plug, but I did not take any wires off to verify this.

Engine missing and bad idle,

Hey, i may be able to help you,you should just let me know if you have a auto timing or normal manual timing,
in other words,do your ajust the timing on how fast you are driving or not.

About your wires arcing out of the boot, dialetic grease is a real good thing but as soon as it gets wet it tends to get thin and then leads away your spark.
Clean them off and use it with out the grease and see what happens,

you can also try and spray the plug on that metal hex with a clear coat and also around the plug hole...

Hope this help you...
